Miami traffic bad for endangered panthers

According to the Miami Herald and a posting by Rebecca at Greener Miami, there are only 100 adult panthers in the wild, but last year there were 11 panther adults that were killed while crossing the highway. That is a huge number.

Two growing populations -- people and panthers -- collide with increasing frequency every year in Florida.
