Congressman Ron Paul at the GOP Presidential Debate

Who is Ron Paul and why is he one of the top search terms in the blogosphere today?

The Michigan Republican Party chairman has changed his mind about trying to bar Ron Paul from future GOP presidential debates because of remarks the Texas congressman made that suggested the Sept. 11 attacks were the fault of U.S. foreign policy.

Saul Anuzis said over the weekend that he won't circulate a petition among Republican National Committee members to ban Paul from more debates. At a GOP candidates' debate last week, Paul drew attacks from all sides when he linked the terror attacks to U.S. bombings.

Yeah, this is definitely an interesting story...why do things like this sometimes attract so much attention and sometimes not? I suspect it's a combination of factors, not least of which is what else is going on in the news that day. Today...not much. So Ron Paul is big. Would he be as big if there was a school shooting or something along those lines? Probably not.

Ron is all set for the Iowa debates on August 5th.

But one group won't invite him to their forum because Mr. Failor works for John McCain...

Ron has captured the internet and his name is big even in European markets. School shootings or not!
There are more searches on Google for Ron than anyone and he has more subscribers on YouTube than anyone, more Meetups and has won most debate polls on the internet.

Ron Paul is tops of any candidate on the internet because he has a following of support!

He had the most people at the rally in NH, and the party afterward, MORE THAN OBAMA.

There were 400 people in that bar. You can see the photos on FLICKR in his photopool uploaded by me.

Now I see the reason you wanted this photo. :-(

But he also had the biggest HOUSE PARTY where that photo was taken -- 182 people RSVPd and at the time of the photo 150 people.

RON PAUL IS BIG.

Know it.
