The US Army continues to fend off charges of censorship regarding its handling of military bloggers, apparently defaulting to the same language used in the whole Don't-Ask-Don't-Tell scenario. So certain things are okay, except when the Army says they're not... The article below sheds some more light (perhaps)on the situation, which NowPublic has highlighted here and here.
Yesterday the Army issued a "clarification" to its new rules governing soldier-bloggers, stressing that "in no way will every blog post/update a soldier makes on his or her blog need to be monitored or first approved by an immediate supervisor."
The linked article within the WIRED story describes the move as "disingenious"; I think they mean "disingenuous", though time will tell if they're being unsmart...
