This is really alarming actually. There are about fifty different brands on this list. Um...what happened?
Somewhat tangentially, I don't think I've ever stopped before to contemplate the names of pet food brands. Some are really funny and stupid. "Big Bet"? "Food Lion"? "Giant Companion"?
Pet owners were worried Saturday that the pet food in their cupboards could be deadly after millions of containers of dog and cat food sold at major retailers across North America were recalled.

No, this is good stuff on account that millions of people have pets and it's a significant story.
NP member: we'd like photos of impacted pet food labels showing product code, if possible.

My puppy ate this stuff! We've got a partial bag of a dog food that I bought in an emergency, and that Lola had some ... well... digestive trouble with...
Now I'm all worried and waiting for any signs of real trouble. I've had some issues with Iams cat food in the past, as I lost a cat due to urinary tract blockage (too much ash content in the food, apparently).
You think you're doing the right thing and spend so much time picking out good stuff for them. Well, she's going to stay on the Three Dog Bakery stuff FOREVER now!
