Minister to support possible boycott of sports events in Malaysia

Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Adhyaksa
Dault said he would support a possible initiative of Indonesian
athletes to boycott all sports events in Malaysia following the
Malaysian police officers` assault on karate referee Donald Pieter
Luther Kolopita in Malaysia last week.

The minister made the statement after visiting Kolopita at Pertamina
hospital here on Wednesday. Kolopita is now receiving intensive medical
care at the hospital for injuries inflicted on him by Malaysian police
last Friday.
