I have been unable to contact my Aunts, Doris (85) and Daisy (95), since Staurday. They were in their home on Palmetto Street, New Orleans. We have word that they might have gone to Lumberton Mississippi. If they traveled they were in a Blue Ford Escape with Louisiana tags. I located my aunts. They are fine although, like almost everyone they have lost everything material. I went to Southeren Mississippi to get them. There is terrible destruction there and a lack of services but the people were wonderful and resiliant. Everyone I met took time to talk to me and to offer any help that they could, including food, water and places to stay. It was an incredible time.
