Mitt Romney and Dog Diarrhea

I'm a Democrat, and it's very likely I will vote for a Democrat in the 2008 Presidential election. However, if Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama or John Edwards was ever found to have done to their dog what Mitt Romney did, even if it was 25 years ago, I'd not only never vote for that candidate, but I'd look into the legality of...well, I better not put any ideas out there. Let's just that I make a few assumption about the character of an individual who treats his pet like this...
