Many girls and guys from this era's bands are now over 50 (those who made it) as are many of their fans. Soundcheck (on WNYC FM) has a Punk Turns 30 program today. Spin Magazine offers a should I say bleak or honest look back on these days, 1977, in New York City in Eat to the Beat by none other than Anthony Bourdain in a special issue.
