Bank DKI gets $38.5 M syndicated loan
Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Jakarta administration-owned Bank DKI has
obtained a syndicated loan of US$38.5 million from six banks.
Bank DKI signed a loan agreement with the six banks on Friday in the presence of Jakarta Governor Fauzi Bowo.
The loan payable in three years originated from Standard Chartered
Bank, Bank Panin, Bank Mandiri, Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), Bank
Permata and Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Bank DKI President Director
Winny E. Hasan said.
Winny said the loan would be further channeled to debtors engaged in
sharia businesses, export-oriented businesses and oil and gas-related
businesses.
Bank DKI posted Rp180 billion in profit before tax in the first nine
months of 2007. Its total assets stood at Rp11.757 trillion as of
September 30, 2007.(*) END
