"No, everything is okay," Miranda told the press when asked whether Soeharto`s illness and hospital treatment has effected the economic situation.
Miranda who came at 8 p.m and left the hospital at 9.45 said Soeharto was asleep and she merely had a conversation with his children. She also said some instruments were still attached to the body of the former New Order strongman.
In the meantime, head of the presidential medical team Mardjo Soebiandono said the hospital has prepared a heart pacer for synchronizing his left and right heart chambers.
"The hospital has prepared a heart pacer,," he said at the hospital on Monday night.
He also said that the heart pacer would be used during an examination scheduled on Tuesday at 6 a.m.
"It is likely that his condition would have improved tomorrow morning," he said.
Mardjo said the moisture sucking equipment was still attached on Soeharto`s body, especially on his belly.
