Around 500 of the 3,500 permanent workers had gone on strike initially, demanding higher wages and bonuses due to high nickel prices.
But the number on strike dwindled to 150 to 200.
Inco will pay a special bonus in the fourth quarter this year to all workers under the deal with the union, Siahaan said.
In 2008, Inco will pay a "production bonus" in each quarter if the nickel price on the London Metal Exchange averages 13 US dollars per pound or higher during the quarter.
Prior to the agreement, Inco paid quarterly bonuses to its 3,500 permanent workers. The maximum bonus, equal to 37 percent of a three-month salary, was paid if the production target for the quarter was achieved.
