Couric in Iraq is a bomb.  No one watches as the host of the Nightly News reports from the war zone.  Why?  Because no one watches the nightly news, period.  There are so many news outlets now, that to sit in front of a TV at 6pm and wait through five minutes of commercials to hear brief excepts with cliche video about the news that happened hours if not days ago is plain boring.  In a world that deals in information dissemination within seconds and minutes, this is a dinosaur. 

Comparing low rating for Couric's Nightly News is like saying postal mail volumes are going down despite our fancy new stamp.  Its ridiculous to even care.
