Although waters have gone down in some flooded parts of Oklahoma and Texas, there's more danger on the horizon -- most notably a potential spillover at the Denison Dam on the Red River.
Some swollen rivers in Oklahoma and Texas are receding but the flood concerns aren't going away just yet.

At Lake Texoma along the Texas-Oklahoma border, water may spill over the Denison Dam today. Bryan County Emergency Management Director James Dalton says they're warning residents along the Red River to move livestock and belongings to higher ground. And he's urging residents to be ready to evacuate if they need to.

Locally heavy rain spread across wide areas of Texas yesterday, causing some street flooding. Corpus Christi called off its July Fourth parade and postponed fireworks until tonight.

A total of 148 of the state's 254 counties were under flash flood watches, flash flood warnings, flood warnings or a combination of watches and warnings last night.
