On Thursday I wrote about right wing talk radio horse's ass Dennis Prager's completely manufactured story about Rep. Keith Ellison being sworn in using the Q'uran (Dennis Prager's Bigotted Hoax). While not admitting the story isn't true, he admits that forcing someone to swear on the Bible is probably not so much legal.
In an interview with USA Today, Prager acknowledged that âtrying to ban Ellison from choosing to use a Quran âmay well beâ unconstitutional.â As various commentators have pointed out, Pragerâs demand violates the Constitutionâs provision that âno religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.â
[...]
Nevertheless, Prager said today âthat heâs going to keep pressing the issue,â and that heâll âbe writing and talking about this issue again.â In a show of support, the American Family Association has launched a campaign urging Congress âto pass a law making the Bible the book used in the swearing-in ceremony of representatives and senators.â
But bigots won't let a little thing like truth stand in their way.

Interesting how a lie becomes a rumor and when people hear it we accept it as fact.......Am I correct in saying this was a hoax?
John 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for
whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him
shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
