It may not have Glastonbury's mystical heritage or hippy sideshows, but for big names and cult favourites alike across seven stages, the line-up definitely delivers.

For example, out of the BBC News website's Sound of 2007 poll of music movers and shakers to find the next big thing, eight of the top 10 are on the Oxegen bill.

Led by chart-topper Mika, also appearing are Klaxons, Enter Shikari, Cold War Kids, Ghosts, The Twang, Air Traffic and the Rumble Strips.
