As many of you know, Alan Johnston, the BBC journalist, was just released after four months of captivity in Gaza. During his tenure there, he knew kidnapping was a real threat to him. However, he soldiered on, knowing that the story of the Palestinians needed to be heard by the world-at-large.
I can say for sure, he is far braver than me. I don't know if I would have done the same in his shoes. One never knows. But what I do know is that he is one of my heroes. Cheers, Alan. I am very happy you are free.
