American/Canadian Champion Abidjan's Mychtar of Ferlinka, CD NA NAJ TDIA DSR CGC ... on his way to winning an award of Merit at Westminster a few years ago. What a busy, fun, frenzied time Westminster is! You get to see the gorgeous dogs from all over the country who you have just admired on TV or in print ... the real "who's who" of dogs! There is nothing like being on the carpet in the ring at Westminster with a dog you are incredibly proud of! Mychtar got to be on the Today Show when we were there and he met lots of celebrities at the Garden. He was a real ham for the camera and did photo shoots for Esquire magazine, the AKC Gazette and USA Network too! The funniest part is bringing the country dogs to the city: "What??? You want me to go potty on the concrete in front of everyone, mom?!?" It took lots of walking to convince him it was ok. :) Mychtar was also a therapy dog in New York City after 9-11.
