Landlords that are neglecting their properties will soon face tougher legislation to help weed them out.

Neath Port Talbot Council has introduced a new licensing system to ensure better quality conditions for tenants.

The new system, which was brought in under the housing act 2004, is intended to address concerns about poor conditions in houses rented within the private sector.
