Never Smile At A Crocodile

This one's a nightmare story.  An Australian found himself in the middle of a croc swamp surrounded by hungry crocodiles, managed to get himself up a tree and spent seven long days trying not to fall down into the waiting jaws.  He seemed to be well equipped though.  He had a couple of meat sandwiches, some toilet paper and a tin tobacco box that he used for signalling.
