This is a piece of shit phone. I've had it for less than a week.
I brought it back to the Verizon store I bought it at last Friday. The battery would not stay charged. They looked at it, accused me of dropping it because the battery was cracked (I don't remember dropping it) and sent me on my way telling me the battery was fine.
I went over to the BJ's store with the Verizon store in it that night. The guy there was nice. He send he would return it as long as I brought the box back with me. I went home to charge it again to give it another try. It lasted two days with me only making one phone call.
Saturday it also began crashing. When I hit certain buttons the whole phone would lock up and take up to 30 second to unfreeze and do the function I asked it to.
Today I bought it back to the BJs store. The original Verizon store I purchased it at closed for the evening. There were two sales associates behind the counter. One helping another customer, another ruffeling with some paperwork. I played with some of the other phones there while I was getting her attention. She did not notice me, I figured she was not one of the people that sells the phones. I put my purse down on the counter along with my malfuctioning phone and orginal box. I figured if I left me belonging there that they would realize I wanted something. It seemed like it might be awhile so I walked a few feet away to catch up with Mike looking at iPods. When I turned back around I noticed the lady was now helping another customer that showed up after me. Grrrr. I was waiting first.
This customer had two younger kids, around seven years old. They are at the counter playing with this phone and going though my purse. Mike had to take my phone out of the kids hands. They are finishing up, I browse though there phones again. On Friday the guy told me they sold out of all the phones I got (in a week). I needed to chose pink or white, or spend an extra $30 on the new LG Chocolate VX8550 which had a better battery life. I already knew I wanted to try one of the newer ones. That and bubble gum pink makes me sick.
As I go though the phones the lady asks Mike if he needs help. I am unsure why no one notices me there. I am only 5'1", maybe hard to see over all the phones, even with my bright red hat on. The other sales associate finishes with his last customer and the lady tells him to help me do an exchange.
He goes though the box and finds a part missing. He can not do an exchange. It is only 6:30, BJ's closes at 8. We drove home, get the missing part. Drive back to BJ's and get there around 7:15. The sales guy is helping a customer in front of us. We wait again. After five minutes he is done and tells me he can't do an exchange tonight because he is closed. I am beyond pissed.
We went to Best Buy, they will not take it back because I do not have the original receipt that was never given to me. Same thing for Wal-Mart. I am still suck with the phone.
I am horrified with this whole experience.
I have several choices.
First call CCS Wireless in the morning to see if they will take this phone back without an receipt. I bought my last phone there and they had great service.
Or go back to the mall or BJ's for horrible service.
I can get the new Chocolate. But I am afraid of the problems in the future with it.
I can get a different phone. I don't know which one, I hate the Razrs. So pretty much any one with a 1.3MP camera and is in the same price range. Some one else can choose, I don't even care anymore.
I can try and see if they will reactivate my old LG. It takes crap photos but at least it works, more than I can say for this Chocolate crap.
I am so annoyed and horrifies I want to stay far far away.
