it is funny, and the tourism folks shouldn't downplay roswell so much! in a lot of tourist literature for the town, it was as though they were trying to sweep the whole reason i went there -- aliens! -- under the rug. after a wedding, the trinity site, and white sands, roswell was the fourth most interesting thing about new mexico to this gen-xer. it sure wasn't golf.
