New Visual System for Unmanned Aircraft

Inspired from honey bees, Australian researchers created two innovative advancements in the field of aircraft maneuvering as they can fly fast and low over dangerous terrain. The highly effective new visual system was created by The Vision Centre and Queensland Brain Institute was unveiled for the first time at the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems held at St. Louis USA on October 11-15.
