UltraFolder.com announced this week that their new Windows XP tagging application is now available for download.

Today most people drop files in the My Documents folder and never even bother putting them into a subfolder. This leads to a mess of files that are not in any order at all. Wouldn't it be great if, when a file is dragged to the folder, a dialog would popup allowing you to categorize the files right then without having to dig into the folder and possibly create new subfolders. That is what UltraFolder does. Not only does it allow you to categorize the file right away but also to tag it. Tagging is all the rage on the internet. It allows you to assign multiple words, tags, to each file. This frees you from the current hierarchical folder structure currently used on the desktop. Allowing you to organize and categorize in a much more flexible way.

The application also includes integrated search and instant preview mode.
