MexicoReporter.com, formerly known as NewCorrespondent.com, is an independent, multi-media journalism site based in Mexico City. MexicoReporter.com also appears as , a London-based club for foreign correspondents and journalists. The site is currently unfunded but we are seeking investment.

Deborah Bonello has been a journalist for the last decade, working for all of the UK’s media trade magazines as well as the Guardian and the FT. is a native Mexican who has lived in Mexico City all his life. He is fixer, cameraman and translator for MexicoReporter.com.

Mike Butcher is a journalist and a new media expert. A former editor of New Media Age magazine, he has since written for national newspapers including The Financial Times and The Guardian, and magazines including The New Statesman. He has launched or relanched several media web sites and in 2004 he was voted 'One of the 100 Innovators of the UK Internet Decade' by GfK NOP, the fourth-largest custom research business in the world. He has appeared on BBC News, Sky News, Channel 4 and Bloomberg, among others. Current projects include journalism and professional blogging, speaking at, chairing or organising events about digital media and Web 2.0 and working with media and technology companies.
