I am currently writing my MA dissertation "User-generated content and participatory audiences" I am looking at how people engage in journalistic content production and if it creates a public sphere for debate outside mainstream media.

For this purpose, I am conducting a survey among participants of user-generated content platforms, with a citizen journalism approach.
