what's with this Beta 'dev' 'static.np.com' (didn't put that whole address there, as I wouldn't wish it on anyone) that locked me out and froze my Firefox? Do not know how I 'clicked' on that! and, of course, wouldn't let me log in with my user/password. but kept popping up and asking me to login. Bad as a spinning wheel, which is still huge problem.

Our developers were working on a beta version of this site at around noon PDT, which probably led to this occurrence. As of now (when I checked) there is no access via nowpublic.com to the dev version of the site. (What time of day did this happen?)

NowPublic.com developer team lead here. I am sorry for the inconvenience I caused with a bad configuration, it's fixed now. Thanks for being an avid contributor to NowPublic.

Just a few minutes before I posted this, Jordan. Had to force quit my browser, and restart new, not with the tabs and windows had open. It has not re-occurred, so far.
