Why has this story remained in my Local channel (New Orleans) leaving out true local news items.? Seems like weeks, tho probably not.

It's old news and does not have anything to do with New Orleans or Louisiana or the Gulf Coast.

What is criteria for puttina a story in a local channel? Even the tags have nothing to do with anyone from here, or business.

NowPublic.com local channel now has nothing on New Orleans area when I'm signed in. the three local headlines are from other areas.

Thanks for reporting this problem. I have set my profile to the same location as you are and I am getting Louisiana articles on the front page and Louisiana and USA articles on the local page. You are reporting from "New Orleans, Westwego on the WestBank" which the system is not capable of identifying with "New Orleans". Thanks for understanding,

I changed my profile to just New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

No local stories are showing up on the "Local" section of frontpage, still. It was working fine with those locales on my profile until about two weeks ago.
