I do not want comments to my articles censored by deletion. The article below had many more comments than this. When I take the time to write a comment, that is MY CREATIVE PRODUCT. Whatever cyberstalker is assigned here needs to apply the courtesy of notifying me of comments being moved and send a copy of same to my inbox.
IF I FIND THAT MORE OF MY CREATIVE PRODUCT HAS BEEN DELETED, I WILL BE FORCED TO TAKE ACTION. I AM NO ONE'S SLAVE, AND I DO NOT WORK FOR FREE. It is enough that my links to my articles are on the Web, but those who try to reach my articles from those links wind up at a picture that was published with the article to prevent them reading the updates to the articles and the comments. NOW you have stepped it up and actually started deleting comments you wish to hide. I will not continue to sit still while this happens. MY ADVICE TO YOU, WHOEVER IS DOING THIS, IS TO RETURN THE MONEY AND STOP.

It is possible that comments were removed because they were spam, this is a real problem at NP. Please do not judge interaction by just the number of comments as spam comments are not really adding to the discussion.
Please message me if I am misunderstanding your complaint.

No, they were not spam. They were deleted. The first comment I had after the article entitled: Indicted: VP Cheney and Former Atty. Gen. Gonzales was a lovely little girl's song and I wrote, " We must always remember that the children will inherit the America that we make for them."
I give my comments as much thought as I do my articles. I know what I wrote and where. The Penis Iceberg article was two pages of comments other NP writers and I shared back and forward. First we discussed the funny iceberg, then we got into how important humor is, and finally we discussed the need for peace among men. Now I think it has 11 comments. So what do you suppose is happening to my comments?
Regarding my photos, Billey Joe Johnson was missing from my "After Kathryn Johnston's Murder" article. Just gone! Gone from NP, also, as far as I could see.. I had to re-load him.
On the "Mary Neal Requests Meeting with the USDOC - Updated" article, we loaded videos. One of them was the Atlanta Office of The Cochran Firm. It disappeared the next day from what was showing. In fact, no videos were posted beyond day one. The video would not post at all for me, but I had someone do it, and the next day it was not showing. I was told that it has stipulations not to load from YouTube now, but that was not so at the time.
I could go on, but I hope this gives you a better picture. Also, If NP is deleting any of my comments, I would appreciate your sending it to my email box. Whereas I am careful now to copy my articles, I don't usually have a copy of my comments, and my articles are often updated in comments, especially those that people would like to delete (as demonstrated by how hard it is to edit them without needing Help Desk to retrieve them from the edit screen.) Some articles are no problem - but certain others are under such attack that I must update them in comments.

And once again, to avoid any misunderstanding, I have removed a spam post from this tread. The spammer was advertising escort agencies.
