Editorial team changes

Rachel Nixon

A quick note to let you know about some staffing changes that will be taking place within NowPublic's editorial team over the next few days.

I will be leaving NowPublic next week to take on a challenging new role in Toronto as Director of Digital Media for CBC News.

Tina Kells and Jarrett Martineau will both be stepping up to the plate to share my duties as Acting News Directors. Please lend them your support in their new roles.

It has been my pleasure to work with the NowPublic community and my colleagues in Vancouver over the past year or so. I'm also very proud of the advances we have made in helping to shape how news will be made and distributed in the future.

Best wishes
Rachel

Sorry to see you leave Rachel. CBC is an interesting News site and you are well qualified for the task.

I do prefer the CGBC though, (the French CBC) or better known as Radio Canada. Especially les Carnet with Yanick Villedieu and Gerald Fillion as well as Michel Cormier who seem to bring rather interesting Postings, Unfortunately though they wont let me post as well. J
