When I was ready to "preview" my posting regarding the trial of Duch in Cambodia, an error message came up briefly saying someone else had modified by work and it could not be loaded. I rewrote the article and it loaded this time. Also the 'bold' button seemed odd this morning.

Hi again, I just wrote up a posting about John Fulton, the little boy in Grand Forks that was murdered. When I when to "Publish" the same error message came up. "Another user has modified this content ..." I'm unable to publish. How can someone else be altering my stuff and preventing me from posting?

This morning the same error message appeared "This story has been modified by another user, changes cannot be saved." I can print my story and redo it. Second time it's loaded. This is getting old.

It's not someone else altering your content, but the system hanging on to some process that wasn't yet complete. Were you adding media before publishing, or any of the advanced-editing widgets?

No advanced techniques. I might have tried to upload media files before publication, but right now I've had the same error message pop up when I went to "Preview". I hadn't tried anything fancy at all. This doesn't happen with every posting. It appears to be random. I haven't closed the window yet. I'm using two screens.
Maybe it's that little rat at the bottom of the page.

OK now I went back to the other screen and gave it another try. It published. I definitely think it's the rat.

I get this occasionally, usually when I write something that authoritarian U.S. bureaucrats might consider controversial. Hmmm. Just a coincidence? Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!

The postings that are affected seem to be random. I can't see any pattern to it. I'm blaming the rodent at the bottom of the page for the mischief.

Good One. It is the common faced by many of the newbies. Thanks for the reviews.
