Flagging

I wrote 3 stories on Canine Diabetes, most pet owners who just get this dx are looking for information. I had mentioned 2 links to forums for canine diabetes. I can see this was wrong to do, but how can those pet owners find help if we can't tell them where to look for it. There is no selling of any kind at these forums just pet owners who devote their own time to helping others.

I have deleted the links, I have emailed Rob Walker, but have not heard from him, can this flag be removed, I don't have time for spamming etc, I want people informed of this disease, naturally you can tell I am not a profession writer.

Your help is appreciated

Thanks

Hi and thanks for the comment.

Link spam is a chronic problem and it is never a simple call when a story is flagged this way.  Once flagged as spam a story can not be retreived.  If you feel the links were the key issue try reposting again without them.  If you message me the links I would be happy to work with you to make them useful and informative withoout appearing to be link spam.

I have not seen any of your postings here. I am certain this can be worked out.

If by flagging you mean to click the report button, well it takes 2 or more members of the community to click the report before Yahoo will remove the question or answer. No they do not know who reported them, Yahoo is a big world. If a question is spam, chat, solicitation, vulgar, etc. then you were right. If you are in doubt then just pass it by.

bituufg, this isn't yahoo. The flagging system works very differently here on Nowpublic and is an option open only to certain members (with the exception of the 'recommend' flag).

Yes we do have a different flagging system than Yahoo

Here's a link to our 'Flagging guide' for further reading.
