I'd like to know why a certain member who has been here at Nowpublic for awhile has gotten away with not using the highlight tool in their stories.
Does NowPublic allow members who have been here for sometime to have certain privileges such as not having to use the highlight tool when quoting from sources?
The member I'm referring too has posted the following story without using the highlighting tool.

Thanks for your post. That story was flagged as Needs Improvement by one our Guest Editors. All members of NowPublic are expected to use the Highlight tool when quoting from external sources.

You're welcome for the post Mr. Jarrett and I'm glad to hear that "one of the Guest Editors" at NowPublic went into the matter.
I think as members of NowPublic, we have an obligation to use the Highlight tool since its one of the rules. When I first joined NowPublic I didn't use the Highlight tool but after I was told about it I went and downloaded Mozilla Firefox along with the NowPublic Highlight tool. It wasn't an easy thing to do with a dial up connection but yet I did so because I wanted to be a part of the NowPublic community.
As new members we make mistakes but most of us correct it when we are told about it. So it's quite upsetting to see a member/members that have been at NowPublic for awhile not correcting his/hers/their mistakes.
