I've not published a whole lot of articles, but I have several duplicate comments under them and would like to have some kind of ability to clean up the comments under my articles.
Any options for this?

The only option is to alert a member of staff to the problem via PM. We do not support members or even Guest Editors deleting comments at this time and it is not in any current/future plans to do so.
Here is a list of current editorial staff.

I wish we could delete comments that we ourselves have made - or even edit them. I have one comment that i would like to edit that i made, but it won't allow me! It's strange becuase my other comments i can edit, but not the particular one that i want to.

You can edit comments up until someone replies to your comment. I guess that restriction is in place so that you can't edit a comment to change something once someone has replied specifically to your comment.
