It appears you are a target of U.S. surveillance operatives who use warrantless surveillance to harass and censor.
I've experienced interference and tampering, too. Most recently, all of my "comments" sections on older stories have been shut down with the message, "This story is more than three months old, the comments thread has been closed."
I don't believe this was generated by NP.
NP may not be aware of many of the problems you cite because "spoofed" or faked pages may be added to your data stream by surveillance operatives at your local Homeland Security-administered "fusion center."
I have asked NP owners to complain to Canadian telecommunications authorities that their right to communicate with users is being infringed upon by US government surveillance operatives. Try writing Mike Tippett, NP founder, to suggest same. Also, post complaints to sites that may be monitored by top Homeland Security officials, those who actually believe in the U.S. Constitution.
It is my opinion that top Obama officials have no idea how their bureaucrats are subverting democracy.
Your anger directed at NP is misplaced, IMHO.

Thank you for the words of support but as you probably now know the closing of comments on stories older than 3 months was done by NP to control the large amount of comments spam being added to the site.
In this case, two spam posts have been removed from the thread. Both were advertising escort agencies.
