I joined 5 weeks ago and have thus far submitted two stories and STILL have not been approved. Heard back once when pressing for answers that my first story had mysteriously vanished, so I submitted a second one and, again, nothing. Very odd place indeed.

Same issue here. Joined the site several hours ago and I'm still waiting for approval.
