Wrangler Meetings?

azer

Hi Folks,

I see that there were conference call meetings held in the past from time to time and some audio downloads and notes remain. I was told at some point in the past that there would be more such meetings. Is there a place where I should check to see when the next one is scheduled? Please let me know.

Thanks,
Sam.

P.s. The text editor on this page seems to be less troublesome? I'm using firefox 2. The editor in the "Montreal: High Windows Topple..." article had a serious problem with the Submit button (clicking on almost every part of it had no effect.)

This topic is part of the archive and has been locked.

Does nowpublic.com have bugzilla running somewhere? I'd be happy to set one up for you if not.

Above the Comments(0) Add a comment there are two links: Post SkypeCast Debrief and changing your screenname... The tool-tips are "go to previous/next topic." The button below says, "Post commen" - missing a T (again, in Firefox 2.)

These are little things but there should be a place to list them so that they can be fixed and tested systematically.

Okay - well here's the flaky button: It looks like it's going to work until you click it - then it doesn't work. Now I need to move the cursor around the pink edge until I find a spot that I can click...

I know what you are saying about the comment box, the formatting is messed up. When you type (at least for me in Firefox) I get 2 or 3 extra lines every time I press return. The last comment I posted took 2 clicks on the "post comment" button for me as well.

Thanks - (and I think it's fixed already.)

The new layout is fabulous - excellent work. I've had many of these same problems in my software also - they do get fixed easily for the most part.

Regarding the in-page JavaScripted editors: There's no easy solution. I suggest a profile setting to allow people to just turn them off altogether. The HTML text boxes are relatively easy to learn how to use.

Thanks again,

--Sam.

p.s. the Post Comment button still doesn't submit under Firefox 2 (this time I'm on a Windows XP Notebook, though. I forgot to mention yesterday that I was using a Linux workstation.)
