It’s not all young folks and damn-the-man anarchy around here: we know there’s a ton of knowledge to be gained from the hard-working old guard that is the MM (mainstream media). That’s why we love All the President’s Men. It’s also why we had an “Actual News Guy”—an MM veteran with real newsroom experience. He tried his best to pass on his wisdom and expertise to the scores of contributors still finding their journalistic sea legs. He also taught a group of like-minded go-getters to do the same before sailing off into the wild blue yonder (retirement). His students are the Super Editors—they have the orange crowns, and their job is to be the leaders and ambassadors of NowPublic's community. For the most part, Super Editors are staff members.
