May 16, 2007 Massachusetts - A Newton firefighter suffered serious injuries yesterday when a fire truck apparently slipped out of gear and rolled over him in a freak accident at Boston College that union jakes say exposes the city's aging fleet of trucks. Lt. Richard Geary is the third Newton firefighter to be injured on a Newton fire truck since late April, but yesterday's mishap is the worst. Barry Mcconaghey, I like this story. It's good stuff. I wish Lt. Richard Geary well and hope the city is coming up with more funding.
