Ever wonder about the future of television? If you want to get the view from the pros you should venture up to Banff in June. Joanna Drake Earl, President, New Media, of San Francisco-based Current TV, has been confirmed to deliver the opening Keynote at nextMEDIA 2007, the sister event to the Banff World Television Festival, which takes place June 8 – 10, 2007 at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Canada. A pioneer in new media ventures, Ms. Earl is credited with developing the first user-generated content model for television.
