Nicole Richie serves 82 minutes in jail

Athough Nicole Ritchie is 4 months pregnant, she maybe could have spent more than 82 minutes in jail out of her four day sentence. She was caugfht driving under the influence of drugs against oncoming traffic last December. Her BFF, Lindsay Lohan also got off easy.

Richie pleaded guilty in July to a misdemeanor DUI charge in a deal with prosecutors that helped her avoid a potential year in jail because it was a second driving-under-the-influence conviction.

If that was me or you, we would have served the whole thing. And we would probably have got a longer sentence in the first place.

What is it with these girls and drink driving?!

She should have gotten at least ten minutes more for drinking to the DUI level while four months pregnant.

Well, to be fair to her, she was acaught last Decemeber. Although she could well be still drinking/ taking drugs now.

Right. My mistake, missed the timeframe. That's what I get for reading and posting after midnight on a workday. I have sat myself in a corner for two minutes in penance. Thanks for clarifying.
