Iraq in the New Year: What would you do?
ABC News and NowPublic are interested in hearing from you, to
find out what you think should happen to resolve the Iraq crisis in
2007.
We'll be collecting opinion videos from contributors like you -
in addition to showing up on NowPublic, there's a chance your video may
appear on ABC's Be Seen, Be Heard online news segment, as well as on flagship network news shows like Good Morning America and World News Tonight.
If you have a video camera or a mobile phone with video
capabilities, here's an opportunity to have your opinion seen all
across the world.
All you have to do is sit down in front of your camera, hit the start
button, and answer this question:
What would you do to fix the Iraq problem?
No one yet knows how the situation in Iraq will change - will
the Democrats force President Bush to scale back the war once they take
control in January? Will the situation on the ground improve on its
own, or get worse? None of these questions have an answer yet.
But here's one you can answer:
What would you do?
You can also send any questions you may have about what's going on in Iraq and an ABC Baghdad reporter may answer them on air.
If you have a video camera or a mobile phone that can record
videos, we want to hear your opinions. In 45 seconds or less, look
straight into the camera and tell us your honest, frank opinion.
How To Record Your Opinion
At the beginning please say your first name, city and state you
live in, and then launch into your opinion. Make sure you are in a
quiet, well-lit location, and if you do not have an external
microphone, make sure you are close enough to the camera to be heard
clearly (but not so close you are out of focus!). About 3 feet is just
about right - enough to see your head and shoulders.
Uploading Video and Sharing It
Once you have recorded your material, transfer it to your
computer according to the instructions provided in your camera users
guide.
Then upload it right to this story. Just click on the "Add Photos and
Videos" link to the right and follow the simple instructions.
Please write a suitable caption - like "My Opinion" and your name, then
tag your story, "Iraq2007".
That's all there is to it!
The videos will be released on December 4, 2006 and will be seen here and at ABC News Be Seen, Be Heard
Any questions? please let us know.

It is for USA to decide... the creators of the mess!
My article "What is the cause of Islamic Terror" makes things clear.
excerpts-
Is
an Islamic terrorist creation of USA and its allies?
Why do Islamic terrorists owe their allegiance to
United States of America? Is USA responsible for
creation of Islamic terror groups?
Yes! United States of America (USA) is primarily
responsible for creation of Islamic terrorists and
Islamic terror groups all over the World. Why?

The good news, is that every problem has a solution.
The bad news, is that people don't always want the solution to their problem.

vijaykumar- I read your essay on the Cause of Islamic Terror.
What a load. Your essay declares that UBL is not to blame, and lays the responsibility for the 9/11 attacks on the "comments" of the United States.
Then you speak of "innocent islamists?" Good grief.
Your comments and opinions are simply not serious.
I would agree that the US is responsible for abandoning the Shah of Iran, and allowing the Khomeni regime of islamic supremacy to rise to power, and I blame Jimmy Carter's administration, and the French government for giving asylum to Khomeni during his years in exile. The mullahcracy has been at war with the US since 1979. But of course, you would blame the US for that as well.
note: this post as been edited, as I mistakenly attributed the essay to Haecus in the original comment
