It would appear that taking drugs increases sexual activity, or is it that sex means you want to take drugs?
Either way, there cannot be too much interesting on US TV - bed seems a much more interesting place to be!
Just 4 per cent of US adults are virgins but 20 per cent have tried hard drugs like cocaine and crack, a new study shows.
What most alarms researchers is how young they start.
“We still have a public health problem in that we still see a lot of adults reporting their sexual debut at a pretty young age,” Dr Kathryn Porter of the US National Centre for Health Statistics said, who led the survey of more than 6,000 people.
“That is an area of concern because risky sexual behaviours can result in sexually transmitted diseases and unintended pregnancies.”
Ninety-six per cent of US adults aged between 20 and 59 have engaged in some kind of sex, including oral and anal sex, the study says.More statistics on sex and drug use in the USA can be found here

are you saying the over 50s are not bonking mad?! I think they included the up to 59s because they are active participants (sex not drugs - they really get into the drugs past 59 to errr umm keep up to it!)
