Tiger Airways has added Queensland's Sunshine Coast to its domestic routes.
The low cost carrier will offer three flights a week from Melbourne to the region from December.
The airline recently introduced direct services between Melbourne and the Gold Coast, Rockhampton and Mackay.
Tiger Airways' chief executive Tony Davis says the coast is an attractive destination for many Victorians.
It will also add significantly to the Sunshine Coast hotel and tourist industries.
