Scientists have unraveled how a horse tranquilizer and hallucinogenic night club drug known as "Special K" can ease depression, researchers said on Friday.

Dread sounds so ominous... I can just imagine the aisles at the drugstore: stomach ache, headache, acne, family planning, dread... perhaps there will be a section on the shelf for ennui also.

Special K has been shown to clinically reduce dread...or perhaps the opposite when one enters the dreaded "K-hole" which "has been compared to a near death experience
with sensations of rising above one's body". Near death = fun!
