This canyon is a gift that transcends what we experience. Its beauty and size humble us. Its timelessness provokes a comparison to our short existence. In its vast spaces, some find solace from their hectic lives.

Most visitors come to the South Rim. Reservations for camping and lodging are essential. When making reservations for lodging and camping, remember to identify the rim you plan on visiting. Day-use visitors should expect traffic congestion and parking problems, particularly in summer. The least crowded time is November through February. However, winter weather is a major consideration when planning a trip during these months.

The South Rim of Grand Canyon averages 7000 feet/2134 m above sea level and the North Rim is over 8000 feet/2438 m. Visitors with respiratory or heart problems may experience difficulties. All walking at this elevation can be strenuous.

Yes, GCNP North Rim is very uncrowded in November, since it is closed.

Grand Canyon National Park's North rim is only open from May 15 through Oct 15 each year, weather permitting. Only the South Rim is open year round.

Even if you could go to the North Rim in winter, it would not be as pictured. You'd need to add a few feet of snow.

Want to see the canyon even less crowded than November? Come to the South Rim in January or February.

If you only have one chance to see this amazing wonder, then definitely
make a visit to the National Park at the South Rim. This is the most
photographed part of the canyon and also the biggest. There are movie
theaters, restaurants and hotels also.

Pros: Most photographed part of the canyon. Lodging available. Fantastic hiking.

Cons:
300 miles from Las Vegas (5.5 hour drive or 1 hour and 15 min flight).
Aircraft is not permitted to fly below the South Rim. Motorcoach tour
picks up early for those grand canyon tours at 6:30 am and return to hotel around 9:30 PM (hard to schedule a show the same night). Allow 8 hours for the Air Tour.

Ah! but if you would prefer to get away from it all, skip the Grand Canyon, the noise and congestion, and head north to one of Everett Ruess' favorite stomping grounds: Canyonlands National Park, UT.

Thanks for the tip.It is more enjoyable to have a tour without too many people.

Having a Grand Canyon Tours from Las Vegas   will be more enjoyable than before.

The Grand Canyon is a steep-sided  carved by the Colorado River  in the United States It is largely contained within the Grand Canyon National Park — one of the first national parks in the United States. President Theodore Roosevelt was a major proponent of preservation of the Grand Canyon area, and visited it on numerous occasions to hunt and enjoy the scenery.
