At least half of my cable TV "Favorites" are science/educational (the rest are 'true cop" channels) - most of the rest of the channels I accuse of being a part of the "Dumbing of America plot" - and it almost seems that there IS such a thing.
One of my recently acquired 'toys' is a 6", short tube Newtonian telescope that I can use with my Canon AE1 - though I've not had much opportunity to do so, sorry to say.
Among other stuff, I'm working up dissertations on the nature of lenses and insects that I'd like to put out there, somewhere, when I polish them a bit more. Aside from that - who knows where this peculiar mind will wander tomorrow!
