I have a good prognosis due to finding the breast
cancer lesion early. I had chemo, a double mastectomy (by choice)and reconstruction. I have infusions of Herceptin every 3
weeks for the next year. I just turned 44 and I am single, never married. I am learning to navigate my life very differently. A personal life only enhances all aspects of who you are and this is one of many realizations I have had this past year. I am open to being vulnerable again after many years and this alone will change all of my relationships for the better.
