Rino Porrovecchio's Channel

My name is Rino Porrovecchio, was born on November 2 1965 in Palermo where I live and work.
Photographer UIF, ANAF and FIAF, i'm a member of the Photographic group "IMAGO" of Palermo (which also I take care of the website); I participated in several national and regional collective exhibitions and currently collaborate with the magazine "Gazzettino Fotografico".
I love art and literature, thought and communication: the emotions.
I approached photography in 1998 (abducted by images and friendship of the photographer Vincenzo Amato), attending various courses and reading a lot about, but only with the advent of digital, I made a personal form of research and expression.
I published poetry collections "Fuoco di paglia" (ed. Libroitaliano World, Ragusa 2006) [ISBN 88-7865-242-3] and "Ribellione" (ed. ISMECA, Bologna 2008) [ISBN 978-88-95895-12-3] and other poems are included in several anthologies and literary magazines.
I have worked for newspapers (among them "il Mediterraneo") and magazines (among them "Charta", suppl. of newspaper "il Manifesto"), founded and directed the magazine "il Melograno" and, since 1997, are entered in a special list of journalists association of Sicily.
From 1983 i work as telecominication network designer for Telecom Italia S.p.A. where, from 2007, even care staff training.
