About rumana husain
Rumana Husain, Karachi, Pakistan Trained as a graphic designer, she has designed fabric murals, co-founded a publishing company for children’s Urdu language books; written and illustrated over forty children’s books; and writes on visual and performing arts for a local English daily, Dawn; is co-founder and Senior Editor of Pakistan’s only magazine primarily devoted to the visual arts: NuktaArt , an English language biannual that also interfaces with other cultures. She is Head, Activism and Outreach, Children’s Museum for Peace and Human Rights, which is being set up in Karachi.
