Ben Heine's Channel

I'm a Belgian painter, illustrator, portraitist, caricaturist and photographer. I studied some bits of graphic arts and sculpture and I also have a degree in journalism. I have 8 years of professional experience as a graphic creator. I speak fluently French, English, Dutch and a bit of Polish, Spanish and Russian.

I'm a supporter of a total freedom of expression. I'm also a supporter of free access for people to culture and arts. I believe that a subtle combination of words and images is the key to a successful communication.

I have collaborated with several printed magazines and papers. My creations have also frequently appeared on many online references.

In my painting, I've been deeply influenced by German Expressionism, Belgian Surrealism, American Pop Art and Social Realism.

So far, I've exhibited my creations in Belgium, Great Britain, Romania, France, Canada, USA, Germany, Brazil, Spain and Palestine.
